DESCHUTES COUNTY FAIR

Lowline (Aberdeen) Full-blood and Percentage Show

Rules & Information:

Missy Ousley needs to know approximately how many cattle you will be bringing to the show to finalize arrangements for the show barn. Call 541-589-4852 or Email [email protected]

There is not a youth show scheduled at this time, if you are interested in a youth show, we must have 12 entries to secure the show.  Please let Missy Ousley know before April 25, 2017 if you have youth interest in competing in their own show.

I missed the deadline for the premium book. Please enter under Department A, Section 108 (Other) and Classes listed below. Please note on your entry form “Lowline Show”. Please note each entry as “Full-blood” or “Percentage”. Judge- not released at this time. Show schedule not released at this time.

 

Entry Fee: $20 per head

 

Entry Deadline: July 14, 2017 including fees

 

Open Class Beef Delivered: Tuesday, August 1, 2017, Noon - 8:00 pm

 

Judging: Beef Ring, Saturday at 9:00 am “”Rescheduled to accommodate our show “.

 

Open Class Beef Released: Sunday, August 6th, 5:00 pm

 

Premium Check Pick-up Time: Sunday, August 6th, 3:00 - 6:00 pm

 

Premiums: First - $65 • Second - $55 • Third - $45 • Fourth - $35

 

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Exhibitors are requested to read carefully through all the rules and regulations for all livestock exhibitors.

No early release of animals. Except with veterinarian approval.

All Beef exhibitors are to unload their exhibits through the South Gate on the fairgrounds.

Heifers over 12 months of age must be brucellosis vaccinated.

All animals showing in group classes must have been shown in their respective single age classes.

All exhibits must be in place from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm daily.

ATTIRE: Exhibitors are required to wear appropriate clean clothing in the Show Ring. No sandals, tank tops, or shorts.

In the cow/calf pair classes, the calf must be a nursing calf.

Nurse animals not permitted
